Selfridges adds new space dedicated to haircare and hair accessories to its Beauty offer
At Selfridges, feelgood fashion and beauty collide in a new space dedicated to contemporary jewellery, hair accessories and haircare. A unique Selfridges experience encompasses styling, personalisation and piercing services, with the best curated products from independent and established brands. The destination is focused on the pleasure of adornment and art of hair styling for everyone.
Anchored by the world’s first Vivienne Westwood dedicated jewellery space and a UK first concept by M Jeweler, the cult custom brand direct from NYC’s diamond district, the expanded jewellery offer includes over 22 Brands. New and exclusive additions include Midnight Studio from Hong Kong, Oslo-based Pearl Octopussy and former industrial designer, Hugo Kreit.

This first of its kind 3500 sq ft space has something for all hair types and textures, across haircare products, colour, services, tools and accessories, increasing the scope of the existing offer by 180%. The space has been imagined as a destination for inspiration and education with Selfridges unique mix of counter concepts and experimental pop-up newness to discover.
New services include Ruka Curl Bar where customers can learn about their hair texture and scalp health via a trichologist and find the perfect textured hair extension match. Aveda will be a offering complimentary scalp diagnostic check and paddle brush engraving. Customers will also be able to have dry hair styling from Jose Eber, Living Proof and GHD, LED scalp treatments from The Light Salon, alongside Hersheson’s essential Blow Dry Bar. From September, further reasons to visit include the Steam Bar, the exclusive hair service located on the third floor, will offer hydrating scalp services and treatments founded by Judy Koloko in a bid to educate the world of hair on scalp health.
