Selfridges introduces two new ceramics brands, Hood Ceramics and Valeria Vasi which both feature unique shapes that add character to tablescapes and shelves. Selfridges’ range of coloured glass and marble in pale pink, orange and green hues adds lightness and joy to summer interiors. Meanwhile, Selfridges updates classic monochrome with contemporary lighting and hype-gen rugs.

This namesake brand was founded by potter and interior architect, Libby Hood. Libby makes each piece by hand in her workshop in Leyton, London, meaning no two piece are alike. Her signature ‘leggy’ vessels are made from stoneware clay and have a rustic finish. They can be used either as vases or candle holders or vases and their natural finishes perfectly compliment to dried flower. The range also includes small dishes, mugs and platters. From £15.

Each piece of Valeria Vasi’s collection is made by hand in Barcelona. Founder Valeria takes inspiration from design and art but also seeks to convey the importance of finding the perfect balance of artistic expression, utility and functionality in each of her pieces. From £175.
